Odisha logs 524 new COVID-19 cases with TPR 0.76%
Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered 524 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, of which 82 infectees are aged below 18 years, informed the State Information & Public Relation (I&PR) Department today.
Of fresh cases from 24 districts, 308 were reported from different quarantine centres and 216 were the local contacts.
Total 68,919 samples were tested yesterday, out of which 524 tested positive for COVID-19. With this, the State’s TPR now stands at 0.76%.
Khordha district once again witnessed a marginal spike in single-day cases. The district logged 254 fresh infections followed by Cuttack district with 66 in last 24 hours.
