Odisha Lokayukta now to probe Pradeep Panigrahi’s corruption case

Bhubaneswar: In a major development in the corruption allegation against former Minister and expelled BJD MLA Pradeep Panigrahi, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today referred the case to Odisha Lokayukta for investigation.

It is pertinent to mention here that this is the first case of corruption allegation that has been referred to Odisha Lokayukta by the state Government after its formation.

“The Government led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is known for its strong action against corruption and committed to provide a transparent administration to the people of the state,” said a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO)
