Odisha man gifts land on moon to newborn daughter

Kendrapara: Avaya Kumar Senapati of Kupuni village under Pattamundai block of Odisha’s Kendrapara district has given an ‘out of this world’ gift to his newborn daughter, literally.

As per reports, Senapati purchased an acre of land on moon for over Rs 10,000 through USA-based Luna Society International this month and gifted it to her daughter Aditi , who was born on January 15.

“I wanted to give a special gift to my daughter. With the help of a friend from USA, I bought one acre of land on the moon through the Luna Society International,” said Senapati.

The Luna Society International has sent him a ‘Lunar Property Registration’ document mentioning about the location of the purchased patch of land on moon, longitude and latitude, and other related details.
