Odisha man kills father, hides body inside house for two days
Baripada: A man allegedly axed his father to death and hid the body inside his house at Palasagadia village under Jashipur police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.
According to reports, a heated exchange of words erupted between Nanda Kishore Guia and his son Ishwar on January 2 over a matter.

The incident took a violent turn as Ishwar attacked his father with an axe and hacked him to death on the spot.
The accused then kept the body inside the house in order to hide it.
As family members didn’t find Nanda for two days, they suspected foul play. They later found the body and informed the police about the death.
Cops have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Ishwar has been detained by police for questioning.
