Odisha man, son thrash younger brother to death

Baripada: Dispute over property turned fatal as a man and his son allegedly thrashed the former’s younger brother at Dangapani village under Gorumahisani police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district today.

A dispute was prevailing between Kuanr Nayak (55) and his younger brother Gumadi Nayak (50) over distribution of property.

A quarrel ensued between the two brothers over the issue this morning and took an ugly turn as Kuanr and his son Ghana Nayak (25) beat Gumadi with lathi killing him on the spot.

On being informed, police reached the spot, seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. Investigation into the matter has started after registration of a case.
