Brahmapur, Jan 8:

His condition deteriorated yesterday with loose motions and physical weakness. He was to be produced before Bhanjanagar court yesterday, but the jail authorities decided against it as he was unwell.

The jail authorities had informed the court about Sabyasachi’s inability to appear before the court and had also appealed for a medical team to visit him.
Sabyasachi’s lawyer Deepak Patnaik has filed a petition in ADJ-2 for suitable medical attention to the 47-year-old founder leader of Odisha Maobadi Party (OMP).

A medical team was dispatched to the jail, who did a primary health check-up on Panda. He will be admitted to hospital today, according to the jail authorities.
