Odisha Matric Exam: English subject exam cancelled at 3 centres    

Bhubaneswar: A day after the English question paper of the annual HSC Examination went viral on social media, Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today cancelled the exam at three centres in Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Bolangir districts.

The board cancelled the English subject exam at Ghunsar Government High School in Bolangir, PR High School in Dhenkanal and Krupasindhu Nodal High School at Gopinathpur in Cuttack.

While 222 students had appeared in the exam at Ghunsar Government High School, 226 gave the exam at PR High School and 227 in Krupasindhu High School.

BSE President Jahan Ara Begum said, “Exam guidelines have openly been flouted at these three centres. Students were involved in mass malpractices during the examination. Action would be taken in this regard within seven days following a meeting.”
