With the evaluation process the results of Odisha annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination 2016 conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will be out before May first week.
“The evaluation process over and the result tabulation is running smoothly therefore we will very soon announce the date for matriculation exams, said said BSE President Dakshya Prasad Nanda, yesterday, adding, “BSE will publish its results before all other boards as usual.”
Notably, a record 6, 01,348 students have appeared the HSC examinations this year. While 5, 63, 220 students are regular students, 26, 023 students are ex-regular students. Last year, 5, 93, 112 students had appeared in the annual examination.
It may be mentioned that the Board this year has introduced State Institute of Open School (SIOS) for school drop-out students to give them an opportunity to clear the Matriculation examination. The students who have discontinued their education after class seven would be eligible to appear for the examination under SIOS system.
