Odisha MLA questions reason behind successful COVID management in state

Bhubaneswar: Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik today in the Odisha Legislative Assembly questioned the reason behind the successful management of the COVID-19 situation in the state by the government.

Patnaik sought the facts related to the successful management and more recoveries & less COVID-19 positive cases in the state.

The legislator also questioned the closure of temples and schools in the state. Stating that people have been allowed to go to market places, Patnaik questioned as to why the state government has not permitted cultural programmes yet.

The MLA also demanded resumption of Jatra shows and cultural programmes in the state.
