The daru of Devi Subhadra was taken to Koili Baikuntha inside Shri Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri town this morning.
Earlier in the day, thousands of devotees pulled the daru sagadi (cart carrying the daru) of the Goddess from Yajna Nrusingha temple at about 8.40 AM.
The sagadi was later taken to the Singhadwara (main gate) of the temple from where it was taken to the Uttara Dwara (north gate) via the Paschima Dwara (western gate).
The sagadi, reached the Uttara Dwara at about 10 AM and was taken to Koili Baikuntha at 10.20 AM after the temple servitors performed the rituals of the daru.
The district administration had made elaborate security arrangements for smooth conduct of the procession of the daru of Devi Subhadra.
The daru of Lord Sudarsan and Lord Balabhadra havealready been placed at Koili Baikuntha.
