Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik today constituted IT wing of the party and appointed former Odisha Accountant General (AG) Amar Patnaik as its Chairman.
Earlier, the ex-bureaucrat was announced to head BJD’s IT Cell during the period of his joining the party on August 29.
“Amar Patnaik has a very rich experience on working in many states. His joining the BJD will certainly strengthen the party. I welcome him. He will be the head of the IT wing in the BJD,” the BJD supremo had said during a programme.
Besides, Amresh Pati, Ranapratap Patra, Sasmit Patra, Shreemayee Mishra, Solochana Das and Prasenjeet Pati were appointed as the members of the BJD’s IT Cell.
The wing will coordinate all IT related activities of the State’s ruling party.
