Odisha: One more Senior Journalist dies of Covid-19

Bhubaneswar: Another Senior Journalist from Odisha succumbed to wily Covid-19 virus. The Senior Journalist, Pritiman Mohapatra, who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar after being afflicted by the disease eight days back, died this evening. He was 50.

Mohapatra was working with the Bhubaneswar edition of The Times Of India. He had also worked with The New Indian Express, Bhubaneswar.

Mohapatra, an alumnus of Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Dhenkanal, started his career with Sun Times.

Earlier, Veteran Journalist Debendra Samantaray from Sambalpur, Adwaita Prasad Biswal from Rourkela, Amjad Badshah, Doordarshan (DD-2) anchor Bhanu Prakash Rath and Manas Ranjan Jaipuria died of the coronavirus disease in the State.
