Odisha Panchayat polls: Repolling underway in many places

The repolling for Odisha Panchayat polls is underway today in several places amid tight security where the violence were reported in previous phases of the elections.

The repolling is being held in Dhenkanal’s Bhuban, Puri’s Krushnaprasad, Brahmagiri and Baliguda area where voters are exercising their franchise to elect the candidates.

The polling is held at booth number 134 of ward number 11 in Purupal village of Badajhada panchayat under Krushnaprasad block in Puri district.

Similarly, the voters are casting their votes at booth number 6 of Mathapatna and booth number 6 of Balikera Pachipala in Amapada panchayat under Brahmagiri block in Puri. The repolling is underway in booth number 2 of Kandawadi village under K Nuagaon block in Baliguda, where the booth was captured during voting in previous phase. Four blocks of Kirtanpur of Bhuban Zilla Parishad zone 3 in Dhenkanal went for repolling today.
