Odisha pays tribute to Biju Patnaik on death anniversary

Odisha paid rich tribute to legendary and late Chief Minister Biju Patnaik on his 20th death anniversary today.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be engaged throughout the day to observe the occasion from Odisha Secretariat to Swargadwara in Puri.

He will pay floral tribute to the statue of Biju Patnaik situated at forest park in Bhubaneswar.

He also remembered his father taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter to pay his tribute.

Several programmes are also scheduled today for celebrating the day by the ruling party BDJ to remember the Bhumi Putra Biju Patnaik.

A day after BJP’s national executive meeting in Bhubaneswar, the BJD is aiming to show its strength on occasion of death anniversary of Biju Patnaik.
