Bhubaneswar: Puri MP Pinaki Misra has been nominated as the parliamentary party leader of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the Lok Sabha by party’s president Naveen Patnaik.

Deeply grateful to the party and Hon’ble Chief Minister @Naveen_Odisha for having reposed faith in me as the Lok Sabha parliamentary party leader. I shall make every earnest endeavour to repay the faith in full measure for #Odisha’s benefit.We shall all work as a cohesive team.??

Similarly, Kandhamal MP Achyutananda Samanta has been nominated as the BJD chief whip and Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty as party’s deputy chief whip in the lower house of the parliament.

On the other hand, Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab will be the chairman of the standing committee which will be allotted to BJD.
