Odisha Plus II question paper fiasco: Printing press to come under probe

Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, Mar 15:

A day after Chemistry question papers were found at several colleges in place of Mathematics during the Plus II exam in Odisha, School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra today said that the press, where the question papers were printed, will come under the purview of probe.

If found guilty, the printing press will be blacklisted, the minister added.

It will be investigated whether there was a conspiracy in the incident or not, Mishra said.

The exam controller has been asked to submit a report within two weeks after conducting an inquiry into the incident. The official will visit the press where the question papers were printed and packed, he said.

Notably, Plus II exams were delayed at several colleges yesterday as Chemistry question papers were sent to the centres instead of Mathematics.

The Council of Higher Secondary Examination (CHSE), body conducting the exam, later decided to reschedule the Chemistry examination from March 16 to 30.

The examination will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm on March 30.
