Odisha Plus II Science results: Show-cause notice served to 15 colleges for zero results

Bhubaneswar: A day after declaration of Plus II Science results, Odisha Government today served   show-cause notice to 15 junior colleges across the state for scoring zero results in the annual examination, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).

The notice has been issued to Nayanmani Women’s HS School, Sardapur in Bhadrak, Sushree Science HS School, Sadaipali in Balangir, Government (SSD) HS School, Chudapali in Balangirl, Padmini Devi HS School, Sonepur in Sonepur, Krishna International Residential HS School for Science in Ganjam, Brundaban Pandi Women’s Science HS School in Berhampur, SRBD Science Res-cum-Day Scholar HS School, Kodala in Kalahandil, Biju Pattnaik HS School, Gargab in Kalahandi, Upendra Nath HS School, Nalagaja in Mayurbhanj,  Brilliance Science HS School, Udala in Mayurbhanj, KB Hist Residential HS School, Phulbani in Kandhmal, Subas Science HS School, Patia in Bhubaneswar, Vision Residential HS School in Puri, Panchayat Anchalik HS School, Kumarbandh in Jharsuguda and Rourkela Institute of Tech HS School.

Through the letter, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education asked the colleges to show cause as to why admission restriction should not be imposed for the current academic year. The institutions have also been asked to show cause as to why temporary or permanent recognition for science stream should not be withdrawn within seven days.
