Odisha Plus III 5th sem exam cancelled in Utkal University. Here’s why

Bhubaneswar: The Utkal University today cancelled the Plus Three 5th semester examination due to the mismatch of questions with the existing syllabus.

The DSE-2 Mathematics (Hons) and DSE-2 Chemistry (Hons) of Plus Three 5th semester CBCS examination 2018 is cancelled, said Sharat Kumar Majhi, the Controller of Examination, Utkal University, in a communiqué.

The above two papers examinations will be held within a week.

The students have been directed to be in constant touch with the College regarding the date of examinations.

According to reports, the questions in these two papers appeared from out of syllabus following which the authorities decided to cancel the examination for two Hons subjects.
