Odisha Plus Two exams: 26 booked for malpractice

A total of 26 students were booked for malpractice on the first day of the annual Plus Two examinations which began in Odisha on Monday.

On the first day, students of the Science stream appeared for English subject.

For smooth conduct of the examinations, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has formed a five-tier squad.

The Council has asked all principals to keep a close watch on the centre superintendents against whom disciplinary action would be taken immediately in case of any irregularities.

As per the schedule, students of Arts stream would appear for English subject today.

About 3,72,000 students of Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational Education streams are appearing in the examinations which is 50,000 more than the last year’s examinations.

The examinations are being held 1092 examination centres.
