Paradip murder: Odisha police issue notice to Mahima Mishra’s nephew, OSL staff

The Paradip police, investigating into the murder of Seaways Shipping and Logistics Private Limited (SSPL) General Manager Mahendra Swain, today issued notice to Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) Managing Director Mahimananda Mishra’s nephew Chinmay Mishra and firm’s accountant Rabindra Dalei asking them to appear before it by January 23.

The police also issued notice to Chinmay Bal, a former staff of the company, to present himself before it by January 24.

Chinmay Mishra and Rabindra Dalei were earlier issued notice by Paradip police on January 13 following which they had appeared before it on January 15.

The investigators had reportedly questioned Dalei pertaining to the financial transactions of the company during the murder.

Notably, Mahima Mishra has been arrested over his alleged involvement in the murder which took place in Paradip on October 26 last year.

According to police, one Rakesh Choubey had received Rs 12 lakh cash in advance from OSL in September 2016 to execute Swain.
