Odisha police nab three more aides of Dhalsamanta brothers

Odisha police have arrested three more aides of notorious criminal siblings—Sushant and Sushil Dhalsamanta—from here, police sources said today.

Twin City Commissionerate Police rounded up the trio today and seized four guns, live bullets among others from their possession.

“Three more associates of Sushant and Sushil Dhalsamanta have been arrested today for their links with the duo. This apart, four guns and live bullets have been seized from their possession,” Cuttack DCP Sanjeev Arora said.

Markatnagar police arrested Prakash Behera, Devendra Behera and Sameerkanta Sharma today. While Prakash and Devendra were arrested this morning, Sameerkanta was arrested post noon. Three 9MM guns, one 7.65MM pistol, 10 live bullets, a motorcycle, three mobile phones and SIM cards wee seized from their possession.

According to reports, Prakash Behera alias Babua is an arms supplier to the notorious criminal siblings.

With the arrest of these persons, the number of arrested persons having links with the gangster siblings has risen to 16.
