Odisha police nabs three for loot

Cuttack, May 12:

The Twin City Commissionerate police today nabbed three persons in connection with loot that had taken place in Badambadi area of Odisha’s Millennium city last year.

Arrest

Police have seized lakhs of rupees in cash from their possession, police sources said.

Out of the three arrested, one hails from West Bengal, the sources revealed.

It may be mentioned here that on May 29 last year miscreants at gunpoint had looted Rs 41 lakh from a gold ornaments trader Swarup Parmanik of Kolkata in the Badambadi area while he was returning with cash after selling off gold.
