Expelled CPI MP from Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha constituency Bibhu Prasad Tarai today joined the Congress in New Delhi in the presence of OPCC president Jayadev Jena.

Tarai was expelled from the CPI on March 18 for anti-party activities as he was found hobnobbing with BJD even after being re-nominated by CPI from his home constituency.

Veteran CPI leader AB Bardhan had on March 13 announced his name as the party candidate from Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha seat.
