Odisha professor awarded at Oxford

Bhubaneswar, July 9:

Dr. Ipseeta Satpathy, D.Litt, Professor SoM at Odisha’s KIIT University, was awarded the prestigious Oxford Journal Distinguished Research Professor Award 2014, at Cambridge University, London on July 1, a KIIT release said today.

Dr Satpathy received the award from Prof. (Dr) Kenneth Garren of U.S.A, a noted academician.

The selection committee was very impressed with the depth, quality and variety of Dr. Satpathy’s research and publications and was happy to inform that she has been able to consistently produce quality research for the international academic audience.

The past award winners are from University of Cambridge, University of Texas, University of Tennessee, University of Florence and University of Wollongong. Dr. Satpathy is the first recipient from the Indian subcontinent.

Prof. Satpathy has thanked Founder KIIT & KISS, Dr. Achyuta Samanta for his constant encouragement, support and good wishes.
