Odisha registers 21 pc revenue increase post GST implementation

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded a 21 percent increase in revenue earnings after implementation of Goods and Service Tax (GST), informed Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera here today.

The State has earned Rs 13,737 crore by way of Integrated Goods and Service Tax (IGST), he added speaking at the State-level GST Day celebrations.

The Minister said till date 2, 22,204 business establishments have come under the purview of GST.

Out of them 99,078 are new registrants, the Minister added.
