Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered 276 fresh COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, of which 55 infectees are aged between 0-18 years, informed the State Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department today.
The new cases were reported from 18 districts. While 159 infections were from different quarantine centres, 117 were the local contacts.
Total 59,774 samples were tested yesterday, out of which the reports of 276 came out positive for the deadly virus. The TPR in the State stood at 0.46%.
Khordha district, which had witnessed a drop in daily COVID cases, logged 138 new cases, the highest in the State. Four districts — Cuttack, Balasore, Dhenkanal and Jajpur — recorded double-digit cases.
