Odisha registers more than 200 fresh COVID-19 cases for fifth consecutive day

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Odisha as more than 200 new positive cases have been registered for the fifth consecutive day in the State.

Total 208 cases were reported in the last 24 hours in Odisha, of which 122 were from quarantines and 86 were local contacts, the State Information & Public Relations Department informed today.

Of total cases, while Nuapada district registered the highest of 36 followed by Khordha district with 33.

With the new COVID cases, the caseload rose to 3,40,402 in Odisha. The active cases in the State reached 1737.
