Odisha reports 1931 fresh COVID cases; tally at 2,74,181

Bhubaneswar:  Another 1931 persons in Odisha tested positive for deadly COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s cumulative caseload to 2,74,181.

Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 1120 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 811 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.

Khordha recorded highest 273 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (153) and Angul (120).

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 20, 750 and recovered cases at 2,52,197.
