Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally today breached 2.70 lakh mark after 1982 persons in the state tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. The tally now stands at 2,70,346.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 1156 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 826 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 300 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (145) and Angul (119).
Currently, the number of active cases in the state stands at 22,304 and recovered cases at 2,46,837.
