Odisha reports 3319 new COVID cases; 43 more succumb to virus

Bhubaneswar: As many as 3319 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours in Odisha as the tally rose to 903789. A total of 66109 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Ratio (TPR) for the day stood at 5.02%.

Cuttack district reported highest 566 fresh infections, followed by Khurda (440) and Balasore (397).

With this, the number of active cases in the state reached 32404.

Odisha also registered 43 more COVID-19 deaths as the toll mounted to 3930.

1.A 53 years old Male of Balasore District.

2.A 43 years old Female of Baragarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
