Odisha reports 378 fresh COVID-19 cases

Bhubaneswar: Another 378 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking  the state’s total count to 3,19,103.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 27 districts, 219 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 159 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.

Angul recorded highest 38 fresh cases followed by Khordha (37) and Mayurbhanj (34).

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 5,241 and recovered cases at 3,12,065.
