Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 986 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, of which 128 were children between the age group of 0-18 years, informed the State Information & Public Relations Department today.
Of fresh cases in 27 districts, 574 were reported from different quarantine centres and 412 were the local contacts.
While Khordha registered 373, the highest infections followed by Cuttack with 139 cases, the daily cases in remaining 25 districts stood below 100.
Four districts — Bargarh, Gajapati, Malkangiri and Sonepur — reported only 1 case each in a single day.
