Odisha rushes fresh 116 PG pass outs to VIMSAR

Bhubaneswar: Apprehending serious disruption of health services at the beleaguered Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla due to the indefinite cease-work by postgraduate students, the Odisha government this evening issued a notification ordering 116 PG pass outs to report for duty at VIMSAR tomorrow.

The notification issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department of the state government this evening asked PG pass outs who had joined it after completing their post graduation courses to join duties at VIMSAR tomorrow by 10 AM as a temporary measure until further orders.

Notably, postgraduate students of VIMSAR are on cease-work since Sunday demanding the removal of Director Aswini Pujahari or their relocation elsewhere as we reported here.
