Bhubaneswar: As many as 1709 fresh COVID-19 infections were detected in Odisha in last 24 hours. With this, the state’s total caseload rose to 2,91,825.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 985 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 724 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 221 fresh cases followed by Mayurbhanj (121) and Cuttack (115).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 14,692 and recovered cases at 2,75,749.
