Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported a record high of 12,523 COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours taking the total caseload to 6,68,422. Besides, the state recorded highest 27 fresh COVID deaths.
Of the fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 7012 are quarantine cases and 5511 local contact cases. With this, the number of active cases in Odisha surged to 1,09,438.
Khordha district recorded highest 1842 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (1084 ) and Angul (930). Yesterday, the state conducted 61,665 tests, highest in the second wave of the pandemic.
