Odisha sprinter Dutee Chand storms into 100 m sprint final in AAC

Bhubaneswar: Continuing her outstanding performance, ace Odisha sprinter Dutee Chand today stormed into the final of the women 100 metres sprint event in the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships (AAC) held at the Kalinga Stadium here.

Dutee qualified for the all important final round by finishing second in heat 2 of the semi-final stage.

The sprint queen clocked a timing of 11.56 seconds.

The final of women 100 metres sprint event is scheduled to be held today at 9.30 pm.
