Odisha out of Sr Women’s National Hockey

The Hockey Odisha women’s team crashed out of the 4th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship (Division-A) 2014 after they lost to Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy by 1-4 goals in a Pool-A match at Bhopal this afternoon.

For Madhya Pradesh, Ramgaihzuali R scored the first goal in the 25 th minute while her mate Shyama Tidgam scored the second goal through a penalty corner in the 43rd minute.

Though Nilprojita Majhi of Hockey Odisha reduced the margin after converting a penalty corner in the 60th minute, the state team could not keep the momentum for long as Ramgaihzuali R scored the third goal in the 66^th minute while Shivani Singh scored the 4th goal through a penalty corner in the 68th  minute.
