Odisha team for Buchi Babu Cricket tourney announced

Cuttack, Aug 9:

The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) today announced a 17-member state team for All India Buchi Babu Invitational Cricket Tournament to be played at Chennai from August 15 to 31.

Each match would be played for two days.

The Odisha team is tagged in the “C” zone along with Kerala and Boroda.

The state team would play its opening match against Kerala on August 15 while it would play the next match against Baroda on August 18.

The team: Girija Rout, Pratik Anurag Das, Pratik Das, Haladhar Das (WK), Anurag Sarangi, Govind Podder (Vice Captain), Biplab Samantray (Captain), Abhilash Mallick, Aravind Kumar Singh, Subhrajit Sahoo (WK), Tukuna Sahoo, Alok Sahoo, Alok Mangaraj, Suryakanta Pradhan, Preetamjit Das, Dhiraj Singh and Paresh Patel.

The team, accompanied by Debasis Mohanty (coach), Shiv Sundar Das (batting coach), Subhasis Bhuyan (manager), Subhakant Sahoo (physio) and Manoj Biswal (trainer), would leave for Chennai on August 11.
