Odisha to experience rainfall from January 10; Check IMD forecast

Bhubaneswar: At a time when cold wave conditions are affecting normal life in Odisha, the state is likely to experience rainfall from January 10.

Light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur in western Odisha on January 10 due to a western disturbance, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted.

The districts which are likely to experience showers are Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Balangir, Kalahandi, Nuapada and Nabarangpur.

Rainfall intensity is likely to increase subsequently, the agency added.

Temperature Forecast: Minimum temperature (night temperature) likely to rise gradually by 2-4 degree Celsius during the next 3 days and no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha .
