Bhubaneswar: Odisha, which bagged ‘Top Performer’ title in State Startup Ranking last month, will get the Best Performer award for e-tendering for 2017-2018.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik informed this on his Twitter handle today.
“Odisha has been chosen by the Ministry of Electronics and Information and Technology (E&IT) to be awarded among Best Performers’ for e-tendering for 2017-2018. One of the first States to start e-procurement in 2018, our continued effort is a part of the commitment to 3 Ts- Transparency, Teamwork and Technology,” Patnaik tweeted.

As per official data, while total 1,89,213 tenders have been processed through e-portal between 2008 and March, 2017, 37,533 tenders were processed in lats financial year.
