Odisha: Two youth killed as electric pole falls on them

Kandhamal: In a tragic incident, two youth were killed and two others suffered injuries after an electric pole fell on them at Kalingbadi village under Daringbadi police limits in Kandhamal district today.

The deceased duo has been identified as Ranjan Pradhan and Liku Pradhan.

Sources said when two youth were going to a nearby pond for bathing, an electric pole fell on them killing them on the spot. Two other youth-Jalendra and Suraj, suffered electric shock when they rushed to their rescue.

All of them were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Ranjan and Liku were declared dead by doctors.
