Odisha: Undertrial prisoner of Boudh sub-jail dies

Boudh: An undertrial prisoner lodged in sub-jail of Odisha’s Boudh district died under suspicious circumstances last night.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal Biswas (45) of Banagaon area in West Bengal.

He was arrested by the Boudh police on June 5 from the neighbouring state on charges of ganja peddling and lodged in the sub-jail since then due to rejection of his bail plea.

As per police sources, he complained of chest pain last night following which he was taken to hospital, where he breathed his last.
