Nayagarh, Apr 11:
Fifty-four-year old Sanyasi Pradhan has appealed for immediate justice to the Nayagarh district magistrate alleging that some persons in Godimoda village under the Sarnakul police station in Odisha have forcefully grabbed his property.
Sanyasi has also alleged in his complaint that he and his nephew have been excommunicated from the village and he is not being allowed to cultivate his land.
His nephew has been ostracised for keeping relation with him. Angry villagers have broken down his Indra Avas Yojana, Sanyasi has alleged.
Godimoda village resident Sanyasi Pradhan (54), owned 12 decimal land including his house. Three years ago, he fell ill and the whole family went out of station for treatment, locking their home.
On return he found that some villagers had illegally occupied his land and house. They refused to vacate the land and inspite of his complaint to the police, no action was taken against the culprits, he has alleged.
