Odisha weather alert: Rain, lightning in these districts for 3 days

Bhubaneswar: The regional meteorological centre, Bhubaneswar, has issued rain and lightning warning for several districts for three days.

As per the weather bulletin issued by the IMD, the thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over many districts till April 13 morning.

Besides, Yellow warning has been issued for several districts till April 13.

Day 1 (valid from 8.30 AM of April 10 upto 8.30 AM of April 11)

Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and at ‘ one or two places over the rest districts of
Odisha.

Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likeiy to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak.

Day 2 (valid from 8.30 AM of April 11 upto 8.30 AM of April 12)

Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Bolangir, Rayagada, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh and at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh,
Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Ganjam and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khordha, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj.
