Odisha weather alert: Thunderstorm likely in 21 dists today

Bhubaneswar: As many as 21 districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm today, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

“Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Bolangir, Sonepur, Bargarh, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore,” the Meteorological Centre  said.

No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) over the districts of Odisha during next 4-5 days, it added.
