The Met office has predicted change in the weather conditions in Odisha in the next 24 hours.
In a release today, it said some parts of the state would receive sporadic rainfall in the next 48 hours with increase in rainfall from June 18 onwards.
Meanwhile, temperature remained below 40 degree Celsius in most parts of western Odisha districts barring five places where it went above 40 degree mark.
While Sambalpur, Sundargarh and Titlagarh remained the hottest place pf the day with 41 degree each, Hirakud and Sonepur recorded 40.8 and 40 degree respectively.
