Odisha Weather News: MeT predicts rain for these districts till April 12

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience rainfall between April 9 and 12, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

It also predicted that there will be no large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next 5 days over the districts of Odisha. It will be above normal by 2 to 3°C at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha during the next 4-5 days.

Below are day-wise forecasts regarding rainfall:

April 9: Light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

April 10: Light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.

April 11: Light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

April 12: Light to moderate Rain/ Thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
