Odisha Weather News: Thunderstorm likely to occur in these districts today

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm and rainfall today, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar,” the Meteorological Centre predicted and issued Yellow Warning for these districts.

“Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of north coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal and at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Koraput, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Keonjhar and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha,” it added.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) over the districts of interior Odisha during the next 4-5 days. Maximum temperature is very likely to fall by 3-4 degree Celsius at most places over the districts of coastal Odisha during the next 24 hours and it will rise gradually by 2-4 degree Celsius during the subsequent 3-4 days.
