Bhubaneswar: Many districts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall/ thunderstorm today, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada and thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada and Kalahandi, the Meteorological Centre predicted.

Forecast for Bhubaneswar and neighbourhood for the next 24 hours: Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.
