Odisha weather update: These places likely to experience rainfall today

Bhubaneswar: Thundershower or light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur in several districts of Odisha today, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Boudh, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal, the agency predicted and issued Yellow Warning for the districts.

On the other hand, the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack are also likely to experience light to moderate rain/thundershower with one or two spells of intense rainfall (2-3 cm per hour).
